These Chinese players who trained at China's elite Shandong Luneng Table Tennis School are visiting MDTTC, training with MDTTC players, in preparation for a series of upcoming table tennis tournaments, including the U.S. Open Championships to take place from June 30 - July 4. They will also be sharing their skills & talents at MDTTC's summer camps this year. Maryland Table Tennis Center (MDTTC) is a premier full-time table tennis club in the United States for both recreational players and elite athletes, open seven days a week.
Since 1992, table tennis players from all over the world have chosen to train at MDTTC, including professional players from China and current U.S. National Men's Singles & Doubles Champions and Junior Olympics Gold Medal winners.
We are famous for our world-class coaches Cheng Yinghua, Jack Huang, Jeffrey Zeng Xun, and Larry Hodges. Cheng and Jack are former Chinese National Team members, head coaches for the Sichuan and Guangxi Chinese Province teams and former U.S. #1 players. Cheng is a U.S. Olympian and six-time U.S. Open or Nationals Men’s Singles Champion. Jeffrey Zeng Xun is a former player and coach from the Sichuan Province team in China. Larry is a U.S. Table Tennis Hall of Famer for his coaching and writing.The MDTTC staff has coached hundreds of players to national titles and Junior Olympics Gold Medals.
